Busy Little Bees

It’s been a while since we blogged last because we’ve been busy getting a number of projects off the ground and we are very pleased to be offering two new services to our business.

First up, our photography tutoring classes. If you live on the Sapphire Coast or a planning a visit here drop us a line if you would like to be taken to all the best hidden spots and take your photography to the next level. Our classes are one on one and tailored to suit your needs. From beginners who would like to take their cameras off auto to confident hobbyists who would like to improve further we can answer all your photography questions. If you are a professional looking for something special we can take you to the best places of the Sapphire Coast that you can have all to yourself. We live in a photographer’s paradise of unspoilt wilderness and countless opportunities for that unique image you’ve dreamed of.

We also offer portrait sessions. It was important to us to be able to offer portrait sessions with no hidden extras, so for $199 you get the 1 ½ hour shoot for up to 2 adults and 2 children, a face to face meeting to make sure you get exactly what you want from your session and a disc with the images that you can choose to have printed yourself. Whether it is an individual session where we bring out all your natural beauty and make you feel a million dollars or a fun family session that truly captures your family’s unique quirks and spirit or a touching and romantic session just for two of you, our portrait sittings are all about what makes you special and different. You’ll find all of the details as well as photo packs we are happy to have printed for you here.

Anyway, that’s enough sales talk for now, if you are still reading this post THANK YOU! Of all the things to wrap our heads around with building a photography business possibly the hardest thing is the knack for selling ourselves and our services. We really love taking the photos that we do and we love photography in general, but neither of us are fantastic at self-promotion …. Yet. 🙂 We do however like people as much as we like photography and we also like spreading the deep satisfaction that comes from a photo that you look at with pride, whether it’s one you’ve taken yourself or one you look at of yourself and say “hey, I actually look really good”. It’s what gets us up in the morning, it’s what keeps us up late at night always adding to our store of knowledge, or perfecting our images in Lightroom and we’d love to know if you feel the same way.

  1. Was wondering where you were hiding 🙂 Great stuff and all the best. I’ve bought the new A’Van picking it up at the end of May and will begin travelling again. Could be a year but I’ll contact you when I get to the south coast, it would be so much better to have a couple of locals to point out the best areas.

Let us know what you think...
