Let me introduce you to a very special little boy. This is Jack Carroll. Born with Down Syndrome and a terminal heart condition, this little fighter has faced and overcome so many challenges in his seven years of life. Recently he went in for heart surgery, which was a great success. Unfortunately he suffered a bleed on his brain that has left him paralysed down his left side.
Now, little Jack is not one to let setbacks get him down for long. He’s already working hard to bounce back from this new challenge but his mum needs help. Carollee is an amazing single mum. She has been running a charity called GIFT- the Great Illawarra Food Train for a number of years- collecting pantry items for the homeless and women’s shelters. She always has time for others and despite all the numerous challenges she has faced in her life, never once lost her strength and sense of humour.
Now it’s time to help her. She is fundraising for the equipment she needs to bring little Jack home to his sister and the comfort of a familiar environment. We would like to help by auctioning off a limited edition canvas print of “Morning Twist”. It is the first of only twenty three to be printed.
It is 30” x 20” (75cm x 50cm). To place a bid click here to post a comment on our Facebook page. Bids close on the 9th of November 2014 at 9pm Australian Eastern Daylight Time.
